Daily page of the Graphite Planner on a Kobo Elipsa 2E

Will it work?

Documented by the maker

Same Kobo PDF reader as the Elipsa: the Kobo Stylus 2 writes on the PDF (Kobo help) and links open with a finger tap, not the stylus (planner sellers' reports); keep taps away from the corners, which Kobo uses for gestures.

The maker documents pen writing on PDFs, and following internal PDF links is documented by the maker or by established reviewers or planner sellers for this model or its software.
