Best weekly planner for e-ink tablets 2027: no daily pages, 66 weeks

A weekly planner puts seven days on one page and leaves out the daily pages. On an e-ink tablet that is more than a matter of taste: the file is a fraction of the size, every week is one tap from its month, and the whole week is on screen at once. This article explains who a weekly layout suits, what to look for in one, and how the Graphite Weekly Planner 2027 handles its 66 weeks.

Who a weekly planner suits

Count how many lines you write on a busy day. If they fit in one day of a week page, a weekly planner keeps the whole week in view on one screen. If you fill a page every day, with an hourly schedule and notes, you need daily pages instead.

A weekly layout also suits people who plan on Sunday evening and check in during the week, and anyone who found a daily planner mostly empty by February.

Why no daily pages matters on e-ink

An e-ink tablet has a slower processor than a phone, and a planner is a long PDF. A daily planner for 15 months has about 640 pages; the weekly one has 182 to 186. Fewer pages make a smaller file: the weekly files are 0.6 to 0.8 MB, vector only, against about 2 MB for the daily planner. Page turns and jumps stay quick, and transfer limits are never close.

It also changes how you move around. In a weekly planner you are never far from the week you need: a tap on any day of a month page opens the week that contains it.

What 66 weeks look like

The planner runs from October 2026 to December 2027, so you can start this autumn. That makes 66 week pages, each with its 7 days and a week focus box, plus:

  • 15 months, each with a calendar, a habit tracker and a task page;
  • a year at a glance, goals for 2027, key dates on 2 pages and 2027 in review;
  • 5 quarter plans, Q4 2026 to Q4 2027;
  • 16 project pages and 40 note pages, each set with a linked index.

The top bar on every page leads back up to the Index, the Year, the Quarter and the Month, Tasks opens the month's task list, and the ‹ › arrows go to the previous or next week.

What to check in a weekly sample

  1. The week page fills the screen, and one day has room for your busiest day.
  2. On the month page, tap any day from 11 to 17 October. Week 42 should open.
  3. On the week, tap Index in the top bar. You should be back at the start.
  4. Nothing you need sits under the toolbar or under your hand.

Every link in the 24 files, 113,584 in all, is opened by three PDF readers and checked by script before release, with the same checks as the daily planner.
